Premarital Requirements and Process

Timelines and Initial Appointments

• Advance notice: Contact the parish office 6 months in advance.
• Initial Appointment: Formal interview with the priest.
• Meeting with Witnesses: An interview with the priest that the couple must attend, accompanied by 2 witnesses for each of them (4 witnesses in total).

Required Documentation

• Baptismal Certificate: Must be recent (issued no more than 6 months ago).
• First Communion.
• Confirmation: Submit a certificate or be currently attending the course in order to receive Confirmation.
• Premarital Preparation: Mandatory attendance at preparation sessions for engaged couples.
• Civil Marriage Certificate.
• Attend a retreat.

• $250 dollars.
